Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing

On January 5, 2025, at approximately 12:11 P.M., Officers responded to 1700 West 25th Avenue due to unknown circumstances which was later determined to be a stabbing.

 

Officers arrived on scene and located a black male, identified as 56-year-old Kelvin Gibson, inside the residence, on the floor and unresponsive. EASI Ambulance Inc., arrived to evaluate the situation. Deputy Coroner, Doug McCurry, later arrived and pronounced Gibson deceased at 12:50 P.M.

 

Detectives have arrested 40-year-old Shanna Estrada, who they believe caused Gibson's death.
