Homicide

                On April 15, 2024, just after 7:30 PM, Officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 1918 S. Arlington. On arrival, the officers located 33-year-old Roderick Breedlove and 33-year-old Joseph Lampkin inside the residence. Breedlove and Lampkin had both suffered apparent gunshot wounds. Lampkin was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center by EASI ambulance with what appears to be nonlife-threatening wounds. Breedlove succumbed to his wounds prior to Officers' arrival and was pronounced dead at the scene.

               This homicide is still in the early stages of the investigation at the time of this release and the circumstances leading to this murder are still under investigation. There is no suspect information to release at this time.
